1. SAP Note 2444654 - SYSTEM user password locked and cannot connect to System Landscape Directory

As of SAP HANA Service Pack 10 (Revision 102) a new security feature was introduced to configure if the SYSTEM user is locked due to too many failed connect attempts. The new parameter “password_lock_for_system_user” in section [password policy] of file indexserver.ini (or nameserver.ini for the system database of a multiple-container system) has value “true”, which means the SYSTEM user will be locked for <password_lock_time> after <maximum_invalid_connect_attempts> failed attempts, default value of parameter is 5.

2. SAP Note 1679938 - Log Volume is full and the database does not respond or start

Regular administration of SAP HANA Database environment is very important.

3. SAP Note 1969397 - Troubleshooting Guide for SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA

4. SAP Note 2134959 - Schema Export and Import Guide for SAP Business One, version for SAP HANA

Depending on your specific needs, you may need to create information models, tables, or stored procedures on a schema. This is usually done in a development system or you may want to reuse these customized objects. Instead of recreating everything in a different system, you can simply export the schema from the original system and then import the schema into the target system.

This guide introduces how to export and import schemas in the SAP HANA studio and provides some additional information (for example, troubleshooting). Nevertheless, please note that schema export-import is not equivalent to full instance backup and recovery. Regular full instance backup must be performed to ensure system is recoverable in case of any unforeseen circumstances. This point is further explained in SAP Note 2121486.

It is important to restrict the use of keyword “REPLACE” from import statement while running on production environment as it may lead to data loss, refer to SAP Note 2404319.
