Different companies have their own characteristics. Based on the nature of the given business, their chart of accounts, departments, divisions, and projects are all different. SAP Business One 9.2 enables users to use segmentation accounts, which reflect the structure of the organization. This structure may increase transparency and clarity of financial reporting.
Go to Administration > System Initialization > Company Details > Basic Initialization and click Use Segmentation Accounts.
After choosing this option, the Account Code Generator, which allows users to design account codes, becomes available.
