If your company database contains hundreds or thousands of records, opening a list results in a seemingly interminable number of rows. If you open a document and search for an item, or business partner, or material or whatever…just imagine how much time you will need to find your choices.
You may want to limit the list length in the system.
Go to Administration > System Initialization > General Settings and click Display Tab. Choose a limit number of rows in Choose from List from 5000, 10000, 50000, 1000000.
The default choice is unlimited. This option can remind company managers to clean up useless information and keep system working effectively.
