SAP Business One is a system that combines all information related to the company. That’s the reason why SAP Business One always puts data security at first place. Data is critical for companies these days, and how to keep data safe and coincident are key points. For example, Business Partner master data contains the company’s customers, venders, and leads information. In this way, we may need some authorization, which means some employees don’t need the authorization to check the data. There are some situations which SAP Business One allows some users to check but not edit the information.
All the setup above can be done under Administration > System Initialization > Authorizations > General Authorizations. The manager can choose the users or groups, the target subject, and the corresponding authorizations.
