UDF (User-Defined Fields) is a powerful tool in SAP Business One. This function allows users to customize the system based on their needs. To set up a UDF, go to Bar menu and choose Tools > customize tool. Users can change or set up items in “User-Defined Tables – Setup” or “User-Defined Fields – Management”.

From SAP Business One 9.2, PL07, SAP Business One enables users to use UDFs as selection criteria in Service reports. Go to Service > Service Reports > Service Calls. Users can choose User-Defined Fields here and sort by UDF item.

The UDF choice can also be found in Service Calls by Queue, Response Time by Assigned to, Average Closure Time, Service Contracts, and Equipment Card Reports.
